    My Trip Report

First off I want to thank all of those that have written live Trip Reports. I have gone back and read quite a few. It's strange how much I enjoyed them. Not quite sure "strange" is the right word, but never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I would spend soooooooo much time reading the doings of other folks. Gotta admit it sure is fun....go ahead call me strange, don't care...lol. Again thanks to all of those who have done a TR before me. I am going to come clean and confess that I am going to steal some styles and formats that I liked along with mixing in my own flava. Here is a list of what I hope to accomplish in writing this live TR.

1.) Provide an entertaining look a pure gambling trip to Las Vegas. I don't hide from the fact that I am a gambler and love a game of chance. I have been a gambler since the day I can remember. Michael Jordan's father said this about Michael, "He doesn't have a gambling problem. He has a competition problem". Not a truer statement can be said about me.

2.) From a personal stand point I hope this report keeps me in check. I struggle with down shifting when things go South. I hope by having to come clean and give progress reports it will force me to stay in control and shift to green chip play as to weather any storm.

3.) Give reviews of hotels, spas, and food.

Here is my "to do" list:

1.) Step foot in the Cosmo and get on their radar.
    2.) Eat at:

    A) Secret Pizza (goes along with #1)
    B) Baja Fresh in the Excalibur. (don't judge...I love their nacho burrito more than anything in Vegas.)
    C) Joe's Stone Crab. (my favorite steak joint in Vegas)

3.) Try the $20 trick (never have done this)
4.) Give both Mandalay Bay and Caezars 20 hours of play
5.) Spend a day Downtown. It's been too long since I have been down there.
    6.) Play free bet blackjack
7.) Spend an evening or two slinging money around at Whiskey Down in the MGM.
8.) Get a hand pay. (not a slot player, but will feed the beast in efforts to get a first ever slots handpay)
9.) Drop some bones on a first class massage.
10.) Enjoy many adult beverages and smoke fine cigars. (bought 20 Olivia Serie V Melanio)
    11.) Come home with 100K

That list looks pretty stout. Here is my Pre-trip bankroll Pic.

I will have a pic of the Post-trip bankroll pic as well. Good, bad, or ugly

Looking forward to taking you all on the ride and hope everyone enjoys this live TR half as much as I have enjoyed all of the ones that I have read. First up.....the airport.

You have my attention sir. It sounds a fun trip plan and I like the ambition. The very best of luck (especially the $100k target)

Your bankroll pic appears to be somewhere between 7 and 8k. And your goal is to come home with 100k??? Wow! I hope we all have that kind of luck someday

I'm excited! Just have to minimize the losses. It's tough though, often I'll have a big drop before I have a winning streak. And obviously I have big winning streaks before I have a big loss.

    Good luck in the competition!

If I were you I would take the 7 or 8k and first go for 12! Then 18k then 27k and so on. Money mgmt and variance is the trick. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks everyone......at the airport. The pictured cash on hand is 8.5 k. Got three debit cards which if I get to those you will be seeing pictures of the interior of the hooters establishment playing $3 dollar bj with Margaret.....lol, not that there is anything wrong with that. As far as the 100k goal? Hey I've never hit it and I've been at this for nearly 20 years. I know the odds and I am looking forward to beating them some day. Why not this trip? I'm gonna swing it from the heals and find out!
