Okay , so it is my job to find a lounge somewhere that has either a 50s or 60s band, I'm under a lot of pressure so I am counting on my friends to lead me in the right direction. It can be either on the strip, downtown, or at any of the "locals" hotels.
    Thanks I appreciate any help

not a lounge. If that was the case the Million Dollar Quartet would fit the time of 50-60's

Seems like every act at the Tuscany (near Ballys) is an oldies lounge, Sinatra era group. Most shows seem free as well, so that helps :)

Check out these guys: http://www.nitekings.com/nitekings/Welcome.html They used to perform on Wednesdays at the Bourbon Street Cabaret at the Orleans. I don't see them listed on the Orleans website now, though. Anyway, they are fabulous!

South Point in the showroom: M Town & More on Tue nights, Wes Winters plays in the Grandview lounge Fri-Sat nights.

Marilyn's Lounge has a number of oldies bands performing - the current schedule includes NiteKings, Goodfellas, Early Clover, Next Movement, Michael John (Billy Joel), TJ Tyler (Sinatra), Restless In Las Vegas, Don Rose (Elvis), Sixties Sensation, Touch of Silk.

Tuscany Suites: Nik @ Night Sinatra (era music) on Sun

Big Elvis @ Harrah's is on leave until either late August or September

Cookie E. Jarr performs in Napoleon’s Lounge at Paris every Monday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

A lot of the music performed in the various dueling piano bars would be regarded as oldies. Check out Harrah's and The Bar at Times Square

Karaoke at Ellis Island always includes a lot of oldies, both music and participants.

Performers in locals casinos move from one lounge to another so you might do best by checking their websites for their schedules. Ones that come to mind include:
    NiteKings
    Reckless In Las Vegas
In A Fect - first set only
    Smilin' Bob
    Ronnie Rose

Their webpage indicates they are at the Orleans every Wed. through September. I wrote and asked them on Facebook and they said Yes, they were there. Why The Orleans does not list them, I don't know. If you go, go a bit early as there is usually a line. Or wait until after 5 when some of the dancing groupie locals go home for supper.
Also, they will show up at Sam's Town
And I see them on schedules at Eastside Cannery.

To see them and hear them, put Nitekings utube in a search.

For 60's look for the the Sixties Sensation. Once again you can utube them.
