Binion's poker tourny again today. No cash for th wife but we did a 6 way chop for 490 each. Blinds were huge and all stacks were even.

Going home tomorrow. We are going home with $300 less than I brought. We probably tipped that much for meals, drinks, etc. Regardless, a 13 night vacation for that amount of money is great. The only meal we paid for was in n out burger just to say we tried it.

    Nice work!

And I hope your in-n-out burger was much better than mine...

I wasn't impressed. My friend claims they are the best but I stand by whataburger as the best fast food burger. I'll be in Texas in a couple of weeks so I'll get one of those.

Maybe someday I'll have the nerve to go with the flusher rules of parlay. I would rather try that on a short trip though.

    A few final thoughts:

I love Vegas and I love the long trips. I would go back today if I could.

Our gambling results were not bad but honestly should have been better. We played tables a few times mostly with poor results. With the number of hands played, the law of averages would indicate 3 royals but we only got two with one of them playing dimes while just messing around. Poker contributed a little over $900 to the trip results which is great considering we only played four low cost tournaments and no cash games.

The food was all free with the exception of In N Out and tips. I seriously considered skipping the burger but I told my buddy back home that I would try one. The best meal we had was Andiamo at the D followed by the Carmel room at the Rampart. Buffets, to me, are an interchangeable commodity. You can price them however you want but all they are is a quick place to refuel. I always enjoy 777 at Main Street and Magnolia's at Four Queens. I was not really impressed with Chicago Brewing which we tried for the first time this trip.

Cosmopolitan was the cream of the crop when it comes to room quality. Suncoast was also very nice. I still hate the showers at Main Street and the AC at Four Queens. The D is adequate but the elevators are awful.

With an eye to future offers, the level of action at each place was:

    D Avg. $6k daily for 3
Four Queens Avg. $7k daily for 3
Cosmo Avg. $1k daily for 2
Suncoast Avg. $3k daily for 2
MSS Avg. $13k daily for 3

I ended two of the days at MSS with about $45 in scratch cards and the 3rd day with $63 in scratch cards. I got one $5 card, 4 $3 cards and the rest were $2.

I hope I am able to arrange the same type trip for next summer. Unfortunately, I think this is probably the last trip until then.

Thanks for tuning in for this many days and I look forward to riding along with other people via their trip reports.
