    My Trip Report

So I thought I'd write a trip report, since there will be plenty of gambling...
We've already got our bags packed and the car rented (we pick it up @ 4:30pm).
We're driving down to Harrahs Southern Cal (Read: Rincon) tonight. Talked to a host, who graciously set us up for 3 comp nights (Will begin our CET play this weekend; 2500 TC per day on Video Poker)
I will give more updates as we go...

Good luck!!! Are you going to play one of my favorite-st games there? :evillaugh You probably don't need the variance from it though.

If we're AHEAD any, after putting in our base 2500TC per day, then HELL YES I'm playing DOUBLE STP!!
Also plan to hit Barona (Got $100 cash to pickup there) and play some of the "chipless" UTH with the 9/7 Trips Paytable.

So were finally on the road, with a quick stop at Carls Jr to get some food.
We lucked out and got a '14 Hyundai Elantra (Kris and mines favorite car).
I know traffic is going to be a biiiitch...but once we get passed the 99, and on to South-15, it should be smooth (ain't NO ONE going south on 15 this weekend)

What kind of bankroll do you plan to bring? Also what are you going to play?

    $1000; We plan to play 50c single-line 8/5 BonusPoker (Kris and I both, $500 each; $12500 coin-in each)
We should be able to do it...with just a bit of positive variance...

We just stopped off in Bakersfield for a piss break, and to switch drivers.
Probably another 3 hours to Rincon...
HOPEFULLY we don't get a crummy room...cuz I told Kris if we do, we're packing up and going over to Barona (will still get 2500TC at Rincon though)

I would head down and get some VP coaching...lol...but the downside of having my own business is holidays increases the work load.

if you get free time, swing by barona and we can play some UTH!
We intend on checking out Pechanga this weekend too, just because it's supposedly the largest casino aside from Vegas and Foxwoods.

If you have time, check out Valley View Casino, just south of Harrah's. They have a promo where you sign up for a players card and earn a certain amount of points on that day to get free cash (up to $100). It is not much but i managed to get the required points for the $100 cash, within 45 minutes to an hour. All I played was $1 Blazing 7's. Ended up making a little from the slots, plus earning the free $100. They also give a free lobster buffet pass for new card members.

lol, beat ya to it...we did that last year...actually got a $40 dining credit (cuz the lobster buffet was sold out for the night; with a free lobster buffet AND linepass for the next day)
So, yes, we abused VV already (and did the $100 cash promo on the 25c spin spoker with 8/5 BP)

    Update:
Were only 30 minutes away from Rincon now...
But MAN OHH MAN! The backup on NORTHBOUND 15 was LEGENDARY...luckily were going SOUTHBOUND!! (suckkkkers!)
Traffic definitely not as bad as we thought it was going to be (cutting through Antelope Valley and the 215)
Hopefully our room is a nice 1king non-smoking!

So we made it to Harrahs Rincon at 12:15..got a room in the South Tower; 8th floor....
Jesus Christ the music is loud from the pool/club! Also, had a FEW piles of vomit in the hallway, lol.
Overall the room is nice...but it's annoying to have to listen to the music and people yelling from the pool...only tonight and tomorrow thankfully...
Time to try to get some sleep!

Good luck Tim. Clean them out. One of these days I'm going to drift from Boyd and get a room comp that would impress someone other than me:evillaugh
