    My Trip Report

this is Mrs. LittleMoney aka Babyback......our first morning after breakfast at the LV Hilton, a picture with Gino Vanelli (now Mrs. Littlemoney is on cloud 9)

ok now backtrack time, the day before the breakfast encounter w/Gino.....we arrive in Vegas and check in at the LV Hilton around 2:30pm....LittleMoney is behind schedule.....and now has to scratch off putting in some parlay bets at the sportsbook room......BUT I did make 2 bets this night at the sportsbook....and the sportsbook room at the LV Hilton was incredible......the
atmosphere was crazy.....the place was pack....when I was at the betting counter/desk putting in my 2 bets.....there were the afternoon games going on, and someone scored...think it was the Cincy win over Pittsburgh, and big roar of cheers filled the room......my bets....Indy vs Arizona under, Dallas vs Carolina under....won that ticket.......other bet....Indy vs Arizona, Indy with the points, Carolina to upset Dallas....lost that bet.......$5 on each ticket.....won $32 on the first ticket.....ahead $22....(see a theme coming, that's why they call me LittleMoney...lol).......BUT after we checked into our wonderful handicapped accessible room in the East Tower......we got ready for the 7pm Gino Vanelli Concert........my wife is a big fan of Gino.....I actually enjoyed the concert....there were 2 songs that I really liked.....some song called Brother Brother, or something like that.....and some Italian song he sang....both real good songs.......after the concert, I used 2 of our 6 free buffet coupons at we at THE BUFFET for dinner, we were hungry......wife ate fried chicken and some other items, but ate like 2 desserts...me, shrimp, shrimp and lots of rice and noodles......and some chinese chicken wings....then it was off to the casino (very easy to find, front of the entrance area near the check in desk of the lobby)....wifey found her Dean Martin and I headed over to the craps table.......started with a $20...left the table with $70.........wifey started with $5, finished with a cash out ticket for $22.08, so this was our official first net winnings of our trip.......$67.08 ahead going into day 2..........concert and check in date and sportsbook 1rst time visit.....Sept 27th...........check out next post, Sept 28th and how we add the $67.08 to our $22.00 and some......with trips to the Riviera (disappointing), Circus Circus, Venetian ,and PlanetHollywood and Monday Night Football game at Hawaiian Tropic Zone......

LittleMoney Back on Central Time TR Pics Sept 28-Oct 2

ok, until I recover from losing my Day 2 TR and get my creative writing juices flowing again......from a request from my good friend Spunky96 and taking a page from breanna61 (thanks ladies)......here are pics with captions from covering Sept 28-Oct 2

Mrs. LM on our way back to the LV Hilton inside the Riviera, we saw this sign with all these historical dates and great acts that had played there at the Riviera back in the days.....we just came from Circus Circus, heading to PH and a 6pm dinner reservation at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone

LittleMoney and Mrs. LM (aka babyback) at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone at PH for the Dallas Cowboys vs Carolina Panthers Monday Night Football Game, I'm wearing my Tony Dorsett jersey for good luck and Mrs. LM a Dallas Cowboys shirt......I got 2 parlay bets riding on this game....won one of them..!!

LittleMoney leaving Hawaiian Tropic Zone, heading back through PH to check out the action and then back to our hotel the LV Hilton for the night

of course LittleMoney had to take a picture with one of the Hawaiian Tropic Zone girls before I left, the nachos there were HUGE couldn't eat it all, besides what my belly looks like...lol

A night at Caesar's, funny story...I'm walking and I see this statue, I tell Mrs. LM, "man that sure does look like Joe Louis", and I look down at the bottom of the statue and there it was, on a gold plaque, JOE LOUIS......big fight fan, lots of history at the Caesar's and boxing and boxing goes along with Joe Louis

Mrs.LM standing at a fountain inside the Caesars's Casino, any recognize the area, please feel free to let me know, we were looking for Mrs.LM coworkers after a few hours of playing in the casino and they were running late meeting us at our "designated meeting place". LM hates waiting on anyone other than Mrs. LM in Vegas...lol

LittleMoney and a new golfing friend from Orlando that I played 9 holes of golf with at Silverstone Golf Course outside of Vegas. I was in GOLF HEAVEN, the course was beautiful, right under the base of the mountains and on the desert, what a course. I played the Mountain Course and only paid $30 even for the 9 holes and a hot cooked breakfast from a menu. Had a 8am tee time and I woke up like 6:30am and went to bed the night before like 3am. I was hurting but glad I went. Will never forget the experience.

well like I said I'm a big sports fan, and a big boxing fan, and I said, after seeing the Mayweather vs Marquez fight, that when I go to Vegas I was going to go to Mayweather's boxing gym, so I wrote a sports reporter and he gave me the whereabouts. China town baby and I made it. Scratched that one off the list. How cool was that?? anyone see it on 24-7 HBO series??
Ok its 11:35am and I have to be at the Sahara Casino by 12noon to volunteer for the Las Vegas Bikefest. Was I hauling ass to get there...lol

After volunteering at the Sahara Casino for the Las Vegas Bikefest, me and my bright yellow volunteer jersey picked up Mrs.LM and we went to the Hard Rock Casino for dinner. Ate at Mr. Lucky's. For all the rockers on here....this is Vinnie Paul of the great band Pantera, now with Hellyeah. It was so awesome meeting and like destiny....if you check out LittleMoney's memorial foundation for nephew, its Vinnie Paul's band playing in the video of the youtube video www.apmsf.com this same night, in honor of my late nephew Alex, I played in my first poker tourney at the Hard Rock Casino. Out of 30 people that entered in the tourney I did, I finished 6th. Was fun and a great experience.

LittleMoney at the Hooter's Casino where we stayed our last 3 days at. Mrs. LM attended a conference right around the corner at the Mandalay Bay so getting her there everyday was an easy drive away or her friends picked her up or we met after.

self explanatory pic, LittleMoney out and about at the Nippers Pool at the Hooter's Casino mingling with the staff........I think this pic is bigger than the others......lol

On our way back to the Tropicana parking lot on our last day I took this pic, it is one of my favorite Vegas things to view while in town. Its so huge up close and in person. and of course, we had to get our last minute souvenirs, so a last minute dash to the M&M's store and Coke store. Heck we even drove over to New Orleans before we left to play some more slots together.
And on our way out, I had to stop one last time at the LV Hilton sports book room to put in 2 bets, one future for my brother in law and another 10 game parlay on the weekend games...ok ok, I know that was a lot of games...and yes I lost out on it....but heck for $5 it was a cool try.....my brother in law has a ticket hoping the Cowboys win the SuperBowl.....Mrs.LM told him he was better off giving her the money.........and I know all my Cowboys fans on here are hoping he's right and I know the NON Cowboys fans aren't......lol..I'm sure I'll hear who and there teams they support......enjoy the pics

Great pics. I've been in Caesars numerous times and don't recall seing Joe Lewis' statue; of course, I was drunk most of those times so that could explain it.

Is the Joe Louis statue kind of across from the sports book and next to a restaurant, maybe Mesa Grill?

    Joe Louis statue??

check out the PM I sent you.....but it was just cool recognizing who the statue was and since I have an uncle back here in Fort Worth that is a big boxing fan and close uncle I wanted to share my experience and this pic with him. Him and my aunt have been to Vegas lots of times before she passed 2 years ago and he remembers being to fights there (outside fights back in the days) a few times......I'm not familiar with anything at the Caesar's, sorry. It was actually mine and Mrs.LM first visit to the casino area. And she even had a business conference there at the Caesar's 2 years ago....lol....go figure...
take it light and have a good one, thanks for reading my post, I hope it brought back some good memories of when you were there
