I had always assumed that it is 100 RC = $1.00 but it wasn't clear from the website, so I sent an email to TR. Will post the answer when it arrives.

    I also found this thread:

    http://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/showthread.php?119628-Redeeming-Reward-Credits&highlight=Reward+Credit+comp+ratio

Which confirmed my assumption about Las Vegas:

"For Vegas restaurants, it's 100 RC per $1. RC cannot be used for tips though. I've always just used cash for the tip. And there is no tax if RCs are used to pay the bill."

At the casino they have all those little pamphlets at the Total Rewards booth (problem gambling, how to play the games, about the TR program) and one of them should have a list of restaurants and shops that accept TR rewards credits as payments.

On the TR website where it lists participants, there is a ** by those that charge double. I think there are only a couple.

I missed that. Indeed there is:

    * Please present your receipt & Total Rewards card to the Total Rewards Center or charge your purchase to your folio in order to earn Reward Credits at this outlet.
** Reward Credit redemptions are completed as 200 RCs: $1 Comp Value at this outlet

If there is a restaurant at a CET property not on the list, like Mon Ami Gabi, you can also get a dining credit slip at the TR desk for the amount you think you will spend.

Or charge to your room then go to card booth and pay with your RCs.
