Where do you stop to buy liquor on the way from the airport to a strip hotel? I am staying at the Cosmo and would prefer to get the taxi to stop on the way to the hotel.

    Thanks!

There are so many. If you hit 'liquor stores las vegas' in Google Maps, you'll get all of them plotted for you.

There's Albertsons, Vons, Super Liquor, Walgreens, CVS, BJs, ABC.....

Don't forget the Liquor Library next to baggage claim in Terminal 1. It is expensive but convenient.

    True dat.

We used them on my wedding trip to get started with zero stops. Also got some free shots.

Yeah they are expensive. That time we arrived around 10pm. Next trip, we arrive around 10am so no LL for us. We will take our time in Henderson and go to Total Wine and Costco for the liquor fix and still arrive at our hotel well before check-in. We will also pick up water and munchies there.

This is the winner! It's been 3 years since my last vegas trip and this is perfect news. The higher cost is fine figuring the meter would be running if we stopped at a store. Thanks!

Super Liquor in the McCarran Village shopping center on Tropicana, across from the airport.
    We stop there every trip.
You'll almost always see limos stopping there as well.

No one has a more extensive liquor selection.

There is a liquor store at the corner of Harmon and Paradise. That shouldn't be out of the way.

Just walk across the street from Cosmo to Miracle Mile Shops at PH and you will find a Walgreens that sells booze.

Since we have a hire care we head to Total Wine in Summerlin, have a browse then hit the happy hour at the Cheesecake Factory before heading back in to purchase our alcohol.

Usually come back once more before we leave vegas as we bring home 10-15 bottles of spirits. Better variety n prices than back home in Oz, even with paying duty at the airport.

You can't miss it either. When you come down the escalator to baggage claim it's immediately to your right.

The free shots are an excellent way to pass the time till your bags come.
