Is it really closed and with Mirage down Flamingo will be busy
yep, 2 or 3 days ago - appears Flamingo is the big beneficiary at the moment. And, from rumors I am hearing there will probably be more rooms closing as well.
So is it closed for good closed or are they remodel/moving it?
I believe it's a permanent closure.
Too bad..didn't play there much but when I did it was a pretty soft game.....
Checking Bravo it looks like Caesars really picked up some of the Mirage traffic - 16 tables running on a Monday.
God knows it should be. Too many poker rooms in LV right now. What's sad is the old IP "room" was first poker room I played in Las Vegas, at the old 3/6 Mix Game, which basically also died out. It was a 100 degree day with the a/c on the fritz there. We still played the game from 7pm-2:30am that night. Now for this upcoming trip, I'm likely not playing any Mix game poker at all unless people randomly want to get a 4/8 mix game going.
I really grew to love this room with the move to the front of the casino and improved foot traffic. Did really well in tournaments there last trip when my buddy lost nearly all his $$ day 1. It was cheap and easy to make the money
