Here are some pictures taken between Sept 20 and 24th from the 27th floor of the north tower of the Flamingo, and obviously one from the street view. Bad room location as we checked in late but good view of construction, which we could hear from the room, no bid deal as east coasters we were awake early anyway.

In the first one looking west you can see the foundation of the "High Roller." Just noticed you can see the foundation in the street view too.

What used to be on that street going towards the airport from Margareta Vill? I don't remember there being a street there in March.

Thanks for sharing the pic's, they turned out really nice. I really thought they would be farther along than that. Although I know there was a lot of demolition done to the IP and a lot of site work. It's really a tough job site for building a project of this magnitude as you are surrounded on both sites by structures, the strip in that area is so busy it limits access, and the back access is shared by 3 or 4 major strip resorts with hundreds of taxis, limo's, rental cars, etc.

Going to be interesting to watch the progress over the next 6 to 9 months.

    Thanks again for posting.

Thanks for the pics. I follow the Linq web cam daily as well as Vegas Chatter. Waiting for Oct 1st when an announcement will be made. I will be staying at "the Quad" on Nov.3-9. I hear rumors that the Registration Area is either done or will be soon?

Thought I'd add these. Noticed that from the window by the North Tower elevators on my floor at Bally's, I had a great view of the "cradle" area of where the High Roller will be.

How is the walk between Harrah's and Flamingo? I am staying at harrah's and friends are at Flamingo so we would be doing the walk a lot. In May, it was pretty bad getting through.

I never had a problem with it, but I also never tried it on a Friday/Saturday night.

How is construction affecting Audrie and Winnick? I am staying at Harrah's this weekend and need an update on the best entrance from behind the strip.

    Thanks for the pics...
One thing I find curious...from the pics, the floor of the area seems to be false.
Can't tell from the shots, but it looks to be 3' maybe off the ground.

The Venetians casino was built the same way. We walk on a flase floor in there too...
All the wires for the latest casino features (and those to come they haven't exposed
to us yet...) are hidden under there.
Looks like Linq has the same game plan.
