I have a my vegas rewards booked for 1 night at Monte Carlo followed by 2 nights booked through Delta vacations, does anyone know if I am able to link these so I do not have to check out/in...or if I did have to do that, not change rooms?

you probably will not have luck in advance. But, the hotel will accomodate you. They surely do not want you to change rooms. Then they have to TOTALLY clean your old room. You might have to check out and back in on the changeover day due to book-keeping. No big deal.

I think nostress is right, they may need to keep the folios separate because one of the bookings was through a third party. But if the room type is the same for both reservations, there's no reason you should have to move, just go down sometime in the morning to do the checkout/checkin and they'll just print new keys.

Just wait until check in. then tell them you want to link the reservations. I have done it numerous times. every trip I have linked comps and it has always worked. Saves them time and money by not having you check out and back in...
Out of curiosity how do you make it work with delta vacations? Aren't the flights synced up to your hotel stays? so you would miss your flight with an extra day?

Delta vacations will let you book a room for only a portion of your stay. On at least 2 trips it was cheaper for me to book a 3 day vacation with 1 night at the Riviera than n it was to book straight airfare. One trip was somewhat last minute and the "package" was $220 less than just airfare. It was worth a stroll down to Riviera to check in.

I've done the same with JetBlue and never once checked into the hotel.
