We have been to see Legends many times over the years at both the Imperial Palace ( as was) and Harrah's but have read online recently that since its move to the Flamingo that the quality of the tribute artists has lessened and the show time has reduced.
As there was a low turnout, we were moved forward to the 3rd. row. Our tickets cost approx. $78 for us both, be careful because there are a lot of discount leaflets around encouraging you to buy a ticket from the Flamingo box office and receive a " free" buffet. The total cost for that offer is $140, meaning around $30 each for the buffet but if you pay separately the buffet is cheaper than that! We got our tickets from Tix4Tonite.
First up was Madonna, who was very good, despite a rather lacklustre response from the audience. The announcer then said " and next we have Michael....." and we hoped he was going to say Jackson, but when he said " ....Buble", both ourselves and the nearest couple to us groaned! I just find him a bit bland, though to be fair he did a good job of impersonating bim.
Michael Jackson was next up and luckily he was one of those rare MJ tributes who could sing and dance like him, usually they are proficient at one, not both. He also had a good sense of humour. As usual, Elvis finished off the show and this particular Elvis possessed a fine singing voice, although he was very young and quite short!
All in all a very good
show but it only lasted 75 mins., but in the past was always a 90 min. show.
After the curtain came down they announced that if you took your ticket stubs round to the Quad box office, you would get free tickets for Divas Las Vegas! Although we were a bit dubious, we called round as it is only next door, only to discover that our " FREE" tickets would either cost $25 each or $35 each depending on where we wanted to sit!! They described this as a Box Office charge!
