I'm booked at Paris for an up coming stay and they sent me an email asking if I would be interested in the "Le Rendezvous Lounge" I never heard of this before and couldn't find out much online. The Eiffel Tower is fun, except for the crowds so I was thinking of taking Mrs Grid someone else for a nice view. And this seems like a good idea. Anyone know how much they charge to get in?

Thanx Gee Gee! For a hundred bucks per couple, I'd rather do something better like dinner at the Voo Doo. Thats nice view as well, and cheaper. Although I'd hate to give up that free newspaper :evillaugh although they point out its just to read, not keep!

I called last week and I was told it was $50/day for the room - based on two people. As there will be three of us, I asked about the charge for an extra person and was told that it was $10 for an additional person. She further clarified that the price per day for 3 people would be $60 plus taxes.

    Here's the deal

If you are thinking it's a swanky lounge you will be disappointed. It is a fairly small room with some dining tables set up and a mini buffet.
It is basically finger type foods, cold cuts etc. If you are a light eater it will def save you money during your stay.
You will walk in and show a guy sitting at a desk your receipt/pass. He acts as a concierge so you would be expected to tip him for
basically doing nothing but checking you in. You can go as many times as you like as long as they are serving food at that time of day.

Lot's of bread items and some desserts. Pictures were taken in 2008.

This is kind of interesting. I am staying at Paris in Oct. and thinking it might be worth it. Perfect breakfast set up for us and then apps and drinks later. I will have to talk to hubbie about it. I was Diamond last year when I was in Vegas, not so much this year, lol. so this would be like a mini Diamond lounge :peace:
