Similar to CP Lobby bar and Apostrophe Bar. Mix of mostly dollar VP. .25 / .50 / 1.00 multiplay. I did not see any single game quarter games here in Sept, where as Apostrophe Bar at CP has single game quarter.
I played some 7/5 $1 Boner Deluxe here at Central Bar over Labor day. It was pretty packed most of the time, except early am. I would go there for a drink, but I did not like the vibe enough to hang out there.

IMHO I would rather play VP during the day at CP, Cromwell, or X bar at Flamingo at .25 denomination.

Interesting Funk, just have walked by and it looked cool. I think the sports book bar at Paris is a hidden gem, but always looking for another place in CET with STP as its about the only way to make it playable except TAG lounge

Yeah, cause I missed this if it was done by late August. :( Did this bar have VP before the reno? When I would look from a distance, I never saw any bartops.

No the VP is new. But this bar got a lot of traffic from the lobby, convention, and non gamblers, so no shortage of business. The place is really nice, they took up some casino floor space to add tables around the bar. The VP was not that great, typical CET horrible tables, 6/5 Boner Deluxe, 6/5 Bonus Poker, 7/5 JOB. I also did not like they did not comp higher end bourbon for VP play, whereas Lobby Bar at CP would pretty much comp any bourbon I wanted in the 15yr aged range.

Its a cool place, but not really geared toward gamblers. I think the demographic they service is more towards LGBT, conventioneers, and the blue hairs during the week. Paris has kinda fallen off my radar as a place to gamble these days, since CET has upgraded their other midtier properties. Lastly I did not see anyone winning at Le Central bar, at least during the two hours or so I spent there.

You mostly summed up my feelings on Paris too. The other mid tier casinos are stepping up their game, but Paris seems stuck in a time warp. But if they brought the old paytables back to Gustav's, I'd still play there when the dancers were out.

But sounds like this new place has the same crap paytables as everywhere else. Unless you really meant 6/5 Bonus and not that shit that pays 150 coins for all quads that all the other Paris bars and every CET strip bar except TAG Lounge currently have. [emoji35]

I forgot about that tweak, but then again I am only play JOB multi-play, Ultimate X DDB, and Bonus Deluxe at $1 or $2 single game these days. Luckly there is still some decent 8/5 DDB in my local market, and a few hidden Bonus Deluxe at 8/6 if you look really hard.

Best CET bartops left to my knowledge is 9/6 DDB for dollars in Tunica (apparently Reno too). At least free drinks if you'd make the trip! But tunica is a snoozefest compared to Vegas. :(

If I can recall... my last trip in September, the minimum on the VP at the Le Central Bar was .50, so $2.50 on max. Maybe it was just my machine though...

I would agree with this statement. I was just there in early November.

Same with the machine I played on last weekend....50 cent was the lowest denom.

Also did a lap around the bar, only saw game kings....no all star II machines with STP.

That sucks. Did you notice at least one of the games (7/5 DDB, 30/6/5 Bonus, 6/5 Jacks) to confirm it's the shitty paytables?
