Is Laughlin worth the trip? Any difference in atmosphere? We were thinking of heading over for a day on our trip in November. We'll only be in Vegas for 3 days, so don't want to waste the time if it's not worth it.

I say dont do it if you only have 3 days. Too much wasted time traveling. Better dining choices in vegas.

    I Agree

With Searchin; better to go Downtown if you're on the Strip and Strip if you're downtown if you want a change of pace. They are wonderfully different! Unless you have a thing for retirees. Then Laughlin is your thing!

Stay in Vegas and do downtown instead as mentioned. :poke:

Been going to Laughlin off and on for over 25 years or so and I still love Vegas even better. If I were staying in Vegas, I would never go down to Laughlin; but I have done it vice-versa!

NO wait till next time. Stay a night or two , rooms are pretty cheap. A good way to do it. Is to tie in atrip to Hoover dam or South Rim GrandCanyon.

There's a big, big difference in atmosphere between Laughlin and LV.
It depends what you're looking for. But I won't go to Laughlin unless I am on my way to Lake Havasu or Oatman or Grand Canyon South Rim. it is just a more convenient stop over point for me.
I'd go to LV anytime i have a chance.

Leaving for Laughlin tomorrow morning. If you like a laid back atmosphere, lower table minimums, cheaper rooms, got to Laughlin. If you want the opposite, go to Vegas.

    Good Info

Kind of reinforcing what I thought. Perhaps a longer trip would allow a sojourn to Laughlin. Leaving Vegas is so hard, I hate to do it if I don't have to.

I'll spend an extra couple of hours at Fremont instead.
