    My Trip Report

I was in vegas June 18th till the 21st. I wrote a long detailed TR, however my computer ate it so at this stage in the game, i forget most of what we did!!

    A Summation:
-My birthday trip, my sisters first time.
-Flew from Boston on JetBlue: no problems
-Stayed one night at the Luxor. Pricy and packed!
-2 Nights at the Palms, very nice, very short walk out
-Wynn: very impressed, lots of nice touches. Laid out very similarly to the Bellagio.
-Food: Buffets at the Rio and Wynn, both excellent. Sunday buffet at the Palms, very lackluster. The Peppermill was great, knocked my sisters food off the check because it was not good. Caffe Giogio in the Mandelay was uncrowed and good italian food.
-Gambling: the Palms couldnt deal me a good hand of BJ.. left down $300, however i didnt get to gamble much, mainly showed my sister around.
-Palms pool: very small, but chill. MTV was shooting for thier "summer on the strip" program, i managed to be seen in the background on tv!
-Kids: never seen so many in vegas. It wasnt just the "kid" places either. Bellagio, Wynn, Ceasars, NY-NY, Mandalay; all crawling with kids.
-Flight home on Song, red eye flight, jam packed.

TVON, if you've ever had the Bellagio Buffet, how did Wynn's compare?

never had the bellagio buffet. however i have had the Aladdin's..
id say i like it almost better than all, except i still prefer the Rio buffet. The selection alone does it for me.

Wow great pictures! Thanks for providing the pictures of the Wynn buffet. We were thinking of trying it out in a few weeks. The room looks nice.

    Thanks again!!!

Computers - can't live with 'em and can't live without 'em! Sorry your report got eaten. Bet it was a good one too!

FWIW, I've eaten at both Wynn buffet and Bellagio (both for breakfast) and preferred Wynn. Although Bellagio's might be larger, Wynn's area is more colorful and features natural light in one area. At Bellagio, a couple items I chose were dried out and pretty tasteless, although overall I liked my experience there. I just wasn't sure it was worth the price. Everything at Wynn was fresh and tasty.
