My friends are arriving at the airport on a Friday night at 11:05PM for a bachelor party. I will be there the previous night and Friday night is the only night I will be able hang with them as I have to leave Saturday.

With that being said, what GOOD restaurants are still open at midnight? Off the strip will be fine too as we will have cars. The only places that I know are open on the strip at midnight are the cafe's, pizza, and Earl's but am looking for something better. $$ is no issue. Any suggestions? TIA

Vegas has lots of restaurants and bars that stay open late. What type of food are you looking for? Atmosphere? You can get 1/2 price steaks at Herbs and Rye from midnight to 3am... It's a classic cocktail lounge with a restaurant on the side. Late night it can be loud and club-like, if that's your thing. There's a great happy hour at Sen of Japan about 20 minutes down Desert Inn (from the strip) from 10:30pm - 1:30 am if sushi / Japanese is your thing. It is usually quiet here. For late night Vietnamese, hit Pho Kim Long on Spring Mountain. For great diner fare (or Oxtail Soup, fantastic if you're adventurous) hit the Market Cafe inside the California downtown (24 hours). Another good diner spot is the Peppermill, near the Riviera on the strip. For basic american fare both the Venetian and the Palazzo have Grand Lux Cafe, which is very good, large portions, 24 hours, run by the company that brings us the Cheesecake Factory.

Wolfgang Puck's at MGM is open 24 hours, or at least it was last time I was there.

Raku, open until 3am, is an excellent Japanese restaurant off-Strip. It specializes in robatayaki (a form of charcoal grilling), but many other items are available. It's perhaps a 20 minute ride from the Strip, located at 5030 West Spring Mountain Road #2.

Reservations generally are required, but you might be OK that late at night.

Not quite 24 but they will be open at midnight. They are closed 6-10am I think.

Blue Ribbon at the Cosmopolitan is open late, I think. Its sister restaurants in NYC are known for being open late so that other chefs/cooks can eat when they're off-dtuy.

I would second this recommendation. It's higher on the pecking order than most casino coffee shops.
