Just wondering if anyone has any recent experience of late check out at The Flamingo.

I'll be in Vegas in June and my flight out isn't till 9pm so won't be leaving for the Airport till about 7pm and wondered if I should ask at reception when I check in for a late check out(I know there will be some kind of charge), or just book another night.

I will probably have enough RC's to cover the cost but thought I'd check out here first.

    Thanks in advance

    Jimmy

We have not stayed at The Flamingo but perhaps this is another option for you.
When we have stayed at Bellagio and Monte Carlo in the past, we asked if they could store our luggage until we were ready to fly out later that day. It was never a problem. We just kept our carry on with what we needed for the day (even a swim suit as they let us use the pool for the day if we wanted) and we just went about our day until we were ready. We then just tipped them when they brought us our bags when we were ready and caught a cab to the airport.
Doesn't hurt to ask in advance if it's something they would do.
    Enjoy the trip.

That is EDC weekend. The hotels will be fully booked. The cost of an extra night would be high.

We stay at Flamingo and usually have an evening flight out of Vegas. We just check out in the morning, give our bags to the bellhop. They tag the bags and store them in a locked room until you come back for them. We get our bags, tip them, all is good. Do the same thing when we arrive early in the morning and our room isn't ready to check in.

Just ask if late check out is available. If its not a big deal they will let you do so without a charge. On EDC weekend it may be a bit more difficult and they may charge you a nominal fee. Keep in mind late checkout only gets you to early afternoon at best.
