Hi all, coming back to Sin city, after 3 years. Arriving late Tues. nite, 10-11pm., Jan. 27,2015. I thought i never be back, but!!!!!! I'm be there, from Delaware. Anyway, we always rented an auto, always arrived in morning, but this time late nite. I want to go back to the airport auto rental lot Wednesday morning and pick up a vehicle to use till Friday, 2 day rental. What's the,,,,,cheapest way back there to pick up a rental. The total rental is by far cheaper there then at a strip hotel. I'm staying at Harrah's. About,, what would be the cost for taxi, or does any auto rental's pick up renters at the casino/hotel,,,,,in the morning of course. I found 1 that will pick up at the hotel, never heard of them, U Save car & truck rental, cheap, w/limited mileage, any bigger/known names do this. If not, bus service or shuttle service?? This will be, our 5th visit since 2003, alot has changed since 3 years ago. Can't wait, even only for 2 days!! Thanks to all for any advice!

My thought would be a shuttle to the airport, then take the Airport car rental shuttle.

New Orleans 7* retreat. Food, food, and more food . . . .
    Tentatively Tahoe or LV . . . .

Another choice is to take the SDX south to the stop by the outlet center. From there, walk to the car rental center.

Enterprise will pick you up at your hotel and Budget on W Flamingo will too (maybe other Budgets will also- I'm sure not the one at the airport though). The prices are often cheaper at the Budget on W flamingo too unless you want to return it at the airport.

ok, have a game plan, Budget has a rental off the strip, 6950 west sahara ave., mazda dealership. They will pick me up at the hotel, then I rent and able to return the car to the airport, Used my aarp card for this. Total for 2 days was$62.11 and included all taxes. No airport tax, fees etc, save about 1/2 in just taxes. Called to confirm the pick up. With plenty time to observe prices and cancel if better presents itself.

Since your staying at Harrahs, just jump on their airport shuttle. I believe it's $7 and picks up in the valet area, just ask the bell men, the shuttle goes directly to the airport and does not stop at other properties.

This was great to know!! My husband has some free days with national, and I was looking at rates for another day or two. With the cost of getting to the rental center, it would be cheaper to go through Budget!!

With aarp, I went to their website [aarp], it saved about $6-7 bucks, even cheap without aarp. But I liked the ideal of them [budget] being able to pick me up at the hotel, next day with late arrival. So they pick me up, take me to the rental on W. Sahara, I use car, not a fancy one, for 2 days, and when done, go to airport rental, drop off, catch shuttle and fly home. Wanted to use dollar[walk across the street] at Treasure island or mirage, but all those fee's, kept me looking. so that hassle is done. just wanted some wheels to get around, never liked to depend on other transportation, wherever I go, just a set a wheels to go when I want, where I want. Last time, few years back, just drove to Laughton for the day, it was a , let's do it thing. Been watching their weather, in the 60's, it's been freezzzzzzzzing here in the mid atlantic states.
