Let me preface this with some information:

    • Been to vegas four times thus far
    • Stayed at Bellagio/Aria/Monte Carlo, prefer "higher class" hotels
    • First trip being single
    • Kind of nerdy, but fit/bodybuilder physique
    • Super confident
    • Budget not really an issue, open to anything

I'm trying to decide on where to stay for a late April trip. There will be lots of pool time/gambling/drinking/no nightclubs (more of a bar/lounge person).

I'm open to staying anywhere. To be honest, a large part of this trip is for me to get out there after finishing my degree and talk/hook up with girls. Gaming is easy, I'm just unsure where would be the best hotel/environment for what I'm looking for. Maybe Cosmo?

Sounds like you're looking for a place to try and hookup and since you don't like nightclubs, it does not sound like you are trying to meet party girls. Cosmo is probably a good starting point. Wynn or Bellagio are not bad options either

Cosmo or Wynn. You sound like a perfect "fit" for the Cosmo pool scene.

I want to say that Venetian is right up your alley. Given what you want to do I would also say Cosmo. A lot of hot women that are willing to hook up hang out at Cosmo.

Looking at other dates, are the Cosmo pools open in early March (like the first week).

None of the party pools get cooking until about the first of April. Pool season can obviously kick off a bit early if the weather cooperates.

Looks like Cosmo March 1st to 4th is the plan, and then go back later in the summer. Just need a break hard from life right now.

Boulevard opens early feb and bamboo closes then, so that works for me.

Any bars/lounges/places in Cosmo that you guys love? I've walked through but not really done much let alone stay there.

Did Chandelier which is 3 levels. Very cool atmosphere and pretty solid for your game plan.

Vesper, Bond and the Chandelier are all pretty solid. They also opened up a new place called Rose. Rabbit. Lie that looks pretty cool. I have not been yet but the place looks really interesting, its a tread about it in under Restaurants & Buffets in this forum if you want to check it out.

I think The Cosmo would be the perfect fit for what you are looking for.

    Cosmos or Venetian/Palazzo.

My last stay at The V I saw a plethora of insanely good looking ladies there and they weren't professionals.

Cosmo has been booked for early March. Terrace studio w/ a fountain view, girls love fountains. ;)

As mentioned earlier, good spots? Checking out Chandelier/Bond for sure.

Honestly anywhere in Cosmo is going to be a good spot. Bond is probably the biggest, but all of the bars in there are fairly popular.

Sadly the pool isn't going to be all that active. It will probably be open, but you are going to need some luck to get some nice weather. Highs in the low 60s are what I would be expecting that early in March.

I'll also throw out the bar in the middle of Mandalay Bay as an option. Mix lounge as well in Mandalay Bay.
