My husband and I are shareholders in Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns the Venetian and Palazzo properties. We're planning on staying at Palazzo for 6 nights in August. Does anyone know if they give their shareholders any extras? Has anyone had any experience even at MGM Mirage or CET properties, being shareholders?

NO, no special treatment - they screw you just the same as they screw over all of their other customers.

pretty easy way to score some comps, by a few shares a week before you go, sell them when you leave.

I dont think they offer anything but it is still amgood question. I came across a website a while back that listed all the stocks that have shareholder benefits. I know Carnival gives $50-100 onboard credit (depending on the length of your cruise) if you own at least 100 shares. With the credit and dividends it pretty much gets you an almost guaranteed 6% annual return if you go on a cruise each year.

This is actually a good catch-22. Because if they DID comp every single shareholder a $150 room, the numbers they would wind up reporting would really hurt your stock.

As a shareholder, I would want them not comping the whole free world. Thats what CZR is for.

I've been a shareholder for years. Nothing. Perhaps you would get a coupon or something if you physically attended their annual meeting or something.
