    With more and more people on the Strip and under the Canopy, glass containers can be dangerous, just by dropping them and having them shatter.

    Maybe this is one of the reasons for the new laws? (Besides the others mentioned already).

    I have to imagine with these numbers and the amount of actual foot traffic, you have to "ask"to be cited or arrested. The squeaky wheel gets the grease or in this case, the drunk d.b. Gets the ticket.

    Basically that means you can't drink a can of Bud anywhere on the strip because all casino shops sell it. It's completely unenforceable as you can just say you bought it 3 casinos away but I get your point. It's more of an anti-loitering thing than something to get charged for.

    That purchasing a closed container was news to me.
    I will just stick with my Fat Tuesdays drinks to play it safe.
