Laptops in Sportsbooks

    Does anyone know if laptops are allowed in sportsbooks?

    I haven't seen it.... but I don't see why not since you can have a tablet in the sportsbook now.

    Yep. I don't think there's a problem with laptops.

    Years ago, they would not even allow you to use your cellphone in the sports books. LVH was really adamant about it. The buffet line was right at the entrance and the gestapo was right there telling you to put the phone away.

    We usually see at least 2 laptops in the MB Sportsbook during MM opening week games during the past 6-7 years. Prior to that, the use of laptops and cellphones were not allowed in the book.

    I always had my laptop with me as I use it for racing.
    Prior to the era of smartphones etc I used to have to let the manager know that I wasn't online or connected to the internet.
    The only issue I had was at Flamingo when the manager came over to me 3 times all flustered and I repeatedly showed her why I had a laptop and no I was not online.
    She finally left for the final time after saying when gaming control shows up I'm going to be the one getting in trouble not her.

    I had mine in the Aria book all day last sunday and nobody ever said a word. I think you are safe

    I will also confirm that Laptops are allowed in just about all Sportsbooks.
