I have a Landrys card which when we arrive in Vegas in September will have $50 on it .

My question is can I give it to someone else to use ( friends coming with us who want to go to rainforest café at mgm), In other words will they ask for ID to see if you are the rightful owner of the card.

I've never being asked for ID when I've redeemed points on my card but, I also usually pay with my credit card so, I suppose, the server could be matching the names on the two cards.

I've never been asked for ID at our main casino, MSS, unless it's a new server.

But whenever we dine at Fremont or The Cal, and the reservation wasn't made by a host, usually breakfast or lunch, they always ask for ID to use our dining cards.

They might get lucky and not be asked. But if you give them the card with the understanding that it may or may not be accepted, shouldn't be a big deal if they are turned down, right?
