Do any/all the benefits of having the Landry's card get lost when you book through Private Arrangement? I know the GN excludes promo stuff like the coupon books when you are earning points for a room booked under Private Arrangement, but I am delaying getting the Landry's Card as it looks like it will be useless since I always go through Priv. Arrangement (and earn free rooms).
The free VIP check-in sounds good w/the Card but I feel I won't be able to do it since I use Private Arrangement.?

My experience, and ymmv, is that it is one or the other. I have some PA points, which, as you say, earn you free rooms. I also have a Landry's Select Card. Lately, I am booking with the LSC, as I am looking for that elusive "free" upgrade. Also, since we eat in the restaurants, points are earned to get food credits. I have free rooms waiting for me via PA, but have yet to use them. Call and ask the desk if it is one, or the other, to confirm what I am experiencing. The VIP check-in sure is nice, should you see long lines at the regular check-in.

Good luck with it. Post back your results, as things may have changed.

I am a member of both Private Arrangements and the Landry's Select Card. I have found it's really one or the other. Private Arrangement points do not count towards specials - in that case, I use the LSC (for free VIP Check in, etc).
