Damn. Doesn't seem to be a solution for this dilemma. Everyone just have to hope for rain, I guess. It's in the hands of Mother Nature.

Lakes Powell and Mead are getting hit hard by a double whammy. Not only is snowpack down in the watershed, but local entities are holding back water that would have gone into the Colorado river. For, the Colorado is strictly controlled but the tributaries to it are not.

I don't believe the drought hype. Seems to me its just a way to control us. The only effort they seem to be making to fix it is fines and suggesting shorter showers. Is that really a solution.? Of course there is no money in finding a solution,. Fixing it would be giving up control of us so don't hold your breth waiting for that to happen.

I moved to so cal about 40 years ago and they were whininh about drought then too. Of course they had fines in place. Seems they like fines. Go figure.

True. It's the Trilateral Commission taking control. No, wait, the UN. What, what's that? Oh, actually, it's a Russian-Martian plot.

The river and lake are still higher than before they put the dam in.

Which would probably be OK if Las Vegas still had the 10,000 residents they did then.

I think we need to see sources on those two claims.

First of all, there was no Lake Mead before they built the dam. Very skeptical about the river claim.

The lowest point of Lake Mead ever was before the dam was built...

Lake Mead was created by the dam. No dam, no lake level, just the Colorado River running through that area.
