How does KGB compare to Le Burger Brasserie? Both have Groupons on right now...

Do what I plan to... get them both and do a comparison of your own. (burger toast)

Do both with the groupon. Burger Brasserie is also quite good. We just did both with the groupon.

I've had both....twice even. Burger Brasserie is better IMO. Love the onion ring tower, and the sports bar feel to the place. KGB is really good as well, guess it depends on where you are staying I guess. :rolleyes2:

A few years ago the BurgerBra had a hot dog 3 ways special. One had carmelized onions, brie, bacon. I can't remember the other 2 but the first one was pretty tasty.

I had KGB last weekend. I was amazed the fries looked like they were out of a frozen bag. I figured a celebrity chef with good reviews on this board would at least attempt to have better fries than the Mom n' Pop down my street.

KGB for the burgers. BBra for the atmosphere....I thought KGB was rather dead when we went there for dinner and not much of an experience other than the really really good burger.

We're headed out mid-July and I'm hoping one or both of them on Groupons remain active so I can jump on the 90 day window for the purchase.

I haven't done either, but I just purchased the KGB groupon yesterday.

I travel solo and I can't see myself spending $40 on a burger dinner, but I can probably spend $30 at KGB.

Both are pretty good, but Brasserie has a better atmosphere. Also, it is better for watching sports.

I don't wanna hi jack this thread but I have a quick (and proabably kind of dumb:rolleyes: )question: Can you get the Capn' Crunch shake at KGB's with booze in it? Always wanted to try these "spiked" milk shakes at Holstiens, or one of the other higher end burger joints, but Holstiens, naturally, doesn't have a groupon.

With the groupon, you can still charge the remaining amount to your room, right?

A good bun makes the burger. Burger Brasserie has lousy buns (for the hamburgers, lol) in my opinion. I prefer the burgers at KGB for sure, but the atmosphere at BB is better.

do not like the hard metal stools, the louder than needed music, or a five minute wait when i see lots of empty tables...c'mon staff your place right! at KGB

that said, the one time we got seated in the lower level, at a table with chairs, the burger was surprisingly good.

if i had to travel from wherever else on the strip to one or the other, i would go to paris.

if i was near the mirage, think i would go to blt burger.
