    My Trip Report

My plane leaves in 4 hours. Probably should put some drinking and gambling togs in my carry-on. Can't forget my bankroll, 1 roll of new nickels. Vegas, here I come.

At the airport. Good thing I put my loot in the carry-on. I didn't think I was on a diet, when I went thru security, had an hard time with the khaki's. Might have been the barefoot blonde in front of me. As sturdy as I am, not feeling the traditional breakfast bloody mary.

You're being funny - but my first trip to AC when I turned 21 years old was a roll of nickels!

Safe travels and knock 'em dead when you get there!

Nothing crazy for a cold Monday. Lunch was excellent. Right now, enjoying a Black Widow (formally Black Star) @ 4Qs Chicago Brewing. Life is good.

Checked into a El Cortez Vintage room #2212. Tried really hard to get a 3rd floor rm. Sweetheart at the desk said they are all booked. Tried the "it's my b-day (16th), retired GI, my fish is sick and the big $20. No dice. The standard vintage is very okay. Up side is a coffe maker and clean sheets. The down is I can't find the in room safe or iron/ironing board. Hate walking around looking like a slob with a whole roll of nickels. I will figure it out.

Ironing board. Right now at the MSS for Black Chips and craps. Mr Jose is working. Probably the best bartender ever. I'm about 2 beers from being unable to see and pound out updates on my iPhone. Wish me luck.
