    My Trip Report

hiya! We just got back from our 3 night stay at NY NY Hotel. We had such a great time, however it was soooo packed on Thursday night!!! We said we were gonna relax on this trip and hang out by the pool... yeah right so much for that. We ended up gambling a lot, but we had a great time doing it. The highlights of our trip (besides the deal we had with the hotel was 3 free nights, $100 free gas card and $100 free dining credit). We just took it easy.. went to visit the Wynn.. it's such a beautiful casino and conservatory. We went to the Ferrari dealership there too, $10 gets you in to see the cars they have on display, that is, unless you own one, then you get in for free. ha! They had such beautiful cars in there! We gambled quite a bit, machines were really tight the first night we were there & didn't win anything at all. The 2nd day, I wanted to go to Quark's Bar at the Hilton to have one of their specialty drinks... well.. it turned out to be the 2 giant fishbowl drinks (my husb & I shared) then a couple of shots... that ended up to be more than we needed. Needless to say.. we had to take a cab back to our hotel, however.. I don't remember it LOL!!! The next day, we went back to get the car by taking the Monorail. It was $9 for both of us one way, but was worth it. Very clean inside and nice views from it too. After we got our car, we w ent over to the Sahara. We had heard about something called "The Drive". It was awesome. I was a little "under the weather", so I watched as my husband took part of it. He drove a Corvette around a race track, he said it was fun. They also offer people a chance to drive a hummer on their own man-made off-road track. It looked scary! Anyways, after that, we went back to the hotel and went to dinner at Gallagher's Steakhouse. It was sooooo great. He had the Surf & Turf & I had their specialty, the New York steak. They were cooked to perfection. if you love steak... there's a place for you. It's not cheap, however, since we had a food credit.. we knew we wanted to use it there. It never seems like enough time you know? But no worries, we're going back again in September!!!

Sounds like a fun trip. First review I think I've seen of the Drive...

Sounds like you had a nice trip ( although not a profitable one  ). I don't believe that I've read too much about The Drive either. I may have to try it out when we go in Sept.
