    Congratulations:kiss:

So many things to do.......I have never stayed at the MB but the beach there sure sounds like a fun place to start working on a plan.

You will have fun whatever you do !

We are heading the week before celebrating an engagement too. Have been once before. It's an amazing place. The choice and quality of restaurants is my favourite. So many excellent places. The vibe is great. You can bet $1000 per spin or just sit and play 1cent per spin and still get your free drinks at the casino. Shows are great. Weather is great, can sit by the pool for a few hours and relax. Hotels are great. You will enjoy!

I love reading about first trips! Read up as much as you can so you have an idea as to what you may want to do. Learn how to get around beforehand (cabs, uber/lyft, the deuce bus). you will at the very south end of the strip, and you should definitely experience the mid strip area... don't try to walk it! use one of the above methods of transportation, or at worst, get to Monte Carlo and then take the tram to Bellagio... The walk to MC is still quite a distance though.

I think walking the strip is a good choice for the first time. It will be warm but you can go in and out of every casino so it shouldn't be too bad. If you walk, you can see inside a ton of different places.

Yea, walking the strip is a must, but im not so sure about starting that walk from Mandalay Bay.

The reason i say that is my first stay was at the Luxor, and I walked to PH the first 2 nights i was there, and I thought that was cool, but the next year i stayed at the Mirage and got to see more of the area from PH on North. My feet were killing me from walking to PH and back from the Luxor, i didn't know anything about transportation. I think first timers should know the options for getting around so they can get the most out of their walking.

You're getting a good start reading this board. I'd suggest reading some trip reports on here to see what people have done.

It would help if you told us what kind of things you like to do and what you can afford. Are you gamblers, pool people, sight seeing people? Low rollers? High rollers?

Alright then I'd recommend spending atleast one night on Fremont St. Good gambling conditions and one helluva block party atmosphere.

Do it early in your trip as you may decide you want to do another night there if you end up liking it. If not, atleast you can say you tried it.
