Wife and I are going to joes at the Caesars. Been there plenty of times but only for lunch. I've worn athletic shorts/pants with a t-shirt. Going for dinner (first time) on a Saturday in August. Can I dress the same? I wear athletic clothes everywhere. Don't want to wear jeans and a polo. Am I good to go with athletic clothes.

I've seen lots of people dressed pretty casually there. I think you'd be good to go.

Last time we ate a Joe's we were starving, but wife and I were what I would consider severely under dressed and sweaty from a day of walking/shopping in the June heat (shorts, tank tops....) I asked the hostess and a waiter if we were dressed appropriately, and they laughed and almost tripped over each other trying to quickly get us to sit down at a table.:feedme: You should be fine.

P.S. Joe's is one of our favs in the Forum shops, we tried the fried chicken this time, after always ordering crab claws/steak...the fried chicken is underrated and excellent IMO...

I concur, one of the best all around restaurants anywhere.

This reminds me, kind of off-topic, but I always wondered why the dress code policy at California gaming rooms (Bicycle Club, Commerce, et al) do not allow for tank tops to be worn?
It says explicitly outside any entrance to the casinos: "No tank tops allowed"

I tried to comprehend this, and other than issues of cleanliness(?), I dont get it. Anyone care to enlighten me?
    Thanks.

Joe's is always a must eat for me. I've seen crappy shorts and t-shirt to tux. I wear nice shorts and shirt and get good table or booth. No snobbery there that I have ever noticed.
