1M loc for any seat? No way it's that high but I could definitely see it being a 250k loc minimum and someone who shows they actually play it.

It is taking 2m CL to even request the Mansion that weekend.

It's the biggest sporting event in the history of the world.

They are only getting tickets for players with 1 million LOC right now. They will block and get tickets later for people with lower LOC. She just said they can book rooms but Can't get Guaranteed tickets till the Million LOC Guest request are being taken care of first.

I would book a room first and then wait to see if the host can get you tickets.

Just for kicks I emailed my Aria host as well as she says nothing is confirmed but they are estimating criteria for 2 tix will be set at around 75k min one time trip loss over past 12 months and casino rooms only for RFB guests which is $550 avg bet for 4 hrs/day.

I just love how the ticket criteria is based on having a loss. Sucks to be lucky I guess.

Well, a casino loss is just shorthand for either playing forever till you lose or sucking at whatever game you play and losing. Of course that's not true always or even mostly but a casino loves the BJ player who refuses to hit 15 ever w/ a theo of 2000 vs the guy who plays perfect basic strat w/ a theo of 2500. In reality, former dudes theo much higher but computer not picking it up except seeing his huge losses trip after trip.

Just like any business they reward those that spend the most.

Criteria for all big events is based on actual loss.

Why would they reward you for costing them money?

    Theo = THEORETICAL EARNINGS

So you are saying if you avg 1-3k a hand, 4 hrs per day and lets say win 200k for the last year, you dont deserve to go since you cost the casino money?

I would be upset if thats the case since we actually risked that above that money won but got lucky.

I understand the reasoning. It just sounds funny to someone with no skin in the game. As if its like a consolation prize, which I guess it sort of is. While it suggests the guy who gambles just as much or even more but was unfortunate enough to win doesn't qualify.

That's not why they do it. I explained above. It has nothing to do with rewarding a loser vs. penalizing a winner.

Actual losses are much more powerful than theoretical losses. A regular winner has lots of theoretical losses. They want the customer who is most likely to incur an actual loss that weekend. On the margin, someone who has done is before it more likely to do it again. That's it.

No. It's not even the biggest boxing match in the history of the world.

Ok, so that is most players that you are talking about. There are quite a few higher limit players on here. But from what shifter is saying, he is apparently losing a ton to get a few tix. I would rather win and pay for them. I would be fine in a regular room and be in my own home which is better than him getting a nut off by staying in the mansion which he has lost enough to stay in lol.

From an historical standpoint of course not. These two guys old washed up farts. Five years ago would have been awesome. But from a societal/revenue standpoint it absolutely is.

It will be the biggest weekend in Las Vegas history in terms of revenue.

He already lost that money...I'm pretty sure he would be thrilled to get his last 6 figure loss back and not grab some boxing tickets.
