I thought I would check out SLS's website ahead of my late August departure for Vegas. Amazingly, their is NO reference to their casino outside their name... No mention on whether they will have a poker room, sports book, what will be available in high limit, on the floor,nothing.... What are they thinking? Do they really think they can successfully operate a hotel casino in the north end without focusing on gaming?

Thanks for the link. Odd that they would have two separate sites. The one I posted was what came up with a quick Yahoo search of SLS Casino

You're welcome. I guess there's a group of SLS hotels, including locations in South Beach, NY and Beverly Hills. I think the link Yahoo gave you was the umbrella group for SLS, or something like that.

there not targeting casino players there targeting krapdashins , hiltons, thats there target same as la and southbeach ,high end clubs and resturants are there bread and butter and there happen to have a casino in there ,it is what it is.

there players club will tied into the hotel program from what im hearing so u can get points for stays at other sls properties, check out there rewards program they have for there hotels right now.

they will have sports book inside a resturant .

I'll be shocked if they are telling the truth on that last part. The fact they even used the word "paytable" is astounding though; maybe there is a glimmer of hope.

If this is the case, then they paid no attention to how Cosmo was run the first few years and how they didn't make any money. Then again, Cosmo was paying for a shiny new 4 billion dollar buidling whereas SLS isn't.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Nazarian pulls this off. So far, SLS sounds like my kind of place.

sls is a much smaller scale alot cheaper to build and sam isnt realy the owner he like a 2 percent owner front man, if cosmo was done right at the same loction on a smaller scale with the nite club and food revenue it would have done good also buit at the wurst time .

I'm thinking' this isn't the place for those in love with Sam's Town and the Gold Coast... the WAX bus or whatever the hell it is probably does stop right out front though.

you are correct, if you love 400$ jeans, 20$ drinks 100$ tshirts 300$ dinners this is your place , if your a penny slot player and 80 years old this will not be your joint, but it is down the block from og's so thats a plus
