Hi, I'm trying to determine if the D coupon for up to $100 in free play that is in this year's American Casino Guide is any good now that 99.17 Bonus Poker is the best game there. The coupon gives the player $5 in free play for every 50 points earned and you can earn up $100 in free play. The D slot club gives 1 point for every $10 put through the machine, so if my math is correct the player has to put $5000 through the machine to earn $100 in free play. Is this a good risk for the player?
I play VP at Four Queens and would only play here for the purpose of utilizing this coupon.

It's a fantastic coupon that adds 1% to your overall return. You need 10K CI for the full $100, but need not wager 10K if that is above your comfort level. It's not quite as good as when they offered NSUD, but still is probably one of the best EV plays downtown. You should also expect free rooms, FP. MP, food comps, etc. if you play close to 10K.

If you're going to play anyhow, then yes it's a great coupon.

Just make sure to bring the coupon to the slot club desk before you start playing. I don't have this year's book, but that's how it worked in the past.

The free play generated by the coupon is in addition to the normal comp and cash accrual. $10k coin in will maximize the coupon value at $100 FP because you need 1000 pts for full value.

One key thing to note on this coupon. As noted above, you present to the club prior to playing. The coupon is good for 24 hours and is not tied to the normal gaming day. If you do 5k one evening and another 5k the next morning you are still covered by the coupon window. I love this coupon but, as mentioned by a previous poster, the value is far lower than past years due to the removal of NSUD.

Regarding comp mailers generated by this play.... I typically do the full 10k within one gaming day. This has generated $50 FP, $25 match play, 4 free nights and $30 free food as my standard monthly offer.

I have the coupon I think - my book is at work. Reading this information I am sure we will not be using it in case anyone wants it.

    thanks for the input

Hi, thanks for the info. Will be in town in May at Four Queens and I'll hop over here the first part of my trip to "hopefully" get more ammo for my assault on the Four Queens VP machines.
