Is poker play messing up my comps?

When I go to Vegas and stay at mlife properties, I play exclusively there (at a decent level). And when I stay at CET, I only play there.

However, when I stay at CET, I still like to play poker at Aria and Bellagio. I use my mlife players card there to get poker room comps. I don't use my mlife card in the Aria or Bellagio casinos, just the poker room.

Does anyone know if the poker room system is connected to the main mlife players club system? I fear that I'm getting with zero-play days, but I'm not sure. My offers in mlife seem to be getting worse.

    Thanks

I am not positive, but I would think that:

There is only ONE Mlife program. Only one. All play, spend, comps, stays are in that system.

So, if you use your card to play poker, it counts as a visit. You play is counted. So, the Mlife system will see you as small/low player.

the question to ask... are those poker room comps worth what you might be giving up elsewhere?

It's true that it's the same mlife players card, but poker comps only show up in the poker room comp system. The mlife players club desk can't see poker activity (from what I'm told)

It would still be logged as a visit to an Mlife property.

If they know you are in there hotel, they expect you to play.

Yeah, I would still think it triggers a "gaming day" even though poker comps at MGM are separate. Like you said, they know you're there.

For CET, it's a no-brainer, yes it triggers a gaming day.

And of course, poker is a terrible average killer.

I get decent comps from CET, and used to from MILFe. I would only give my card at a poker table when coupled with serious VP or BJ play within the same day.

If you are not staying on a comp, and are only sitting in to play a poker session (or a quick VP or BJ session, or a possible long BJ session at a far lower average bet then you typically play), then you should pass on giving your CET/MILFe card, as your ADT will suffer.
