I have been a long time Red Rock Canyon fan. Would always drive out there for a few hours to get away from the casinos. I enjoyed hiking at numerous spots along the loop. Since 2011, when i had my stroke, i can no longer drive, at least till my doctor says OK.
I have looked at a couple of tours but still hesitant on whether it's just a pic take adventure.
    Then i found this: https://redebike.com/

A small group up to eight, using pedal power with an electric motor. This is something i might go for. Enjoying RRC on a bike but with electric power if i need it (i would need it on inclines).
I can't drive because of my balance and how that would affect me in a moving car, but i have ridden my bike many times (not on hills) and had no problem

They pick you up at your hotel. Wondering if anyone has used this.

I'm not familiar with them, but Dan has done some bike tours in RRC and loved them. My concern would be your balance. You might call the company and ask them about your medical issues and whether or not they would be a problem.

If balance is an issue, maybe something with a scooter like this http://www.scootcitytours.com/

Thanks Sonya. I considered Scoot City but you need a Drivers License. I had my drivers license up to 2011 when i had my stroke. I had to renew my DL quickly soon after and i decided to get a Cali ID instead.
My balance is fine for riding bikes, i do it all the time along the beach. It just that a car is heavy machinery and right now it's still too soon.
But Ride-E-Bike seems just the thing i want to do. I've been going to Red Rock for over 20+ years, but since my stroke i haven't been out there since.
The Electric Bike can be used as a power bike, pedal power, or both.
I think i will get in contact with Alison (the owner), and find out more about it.
    Thank you.
