I am staying at MGM with my wife and a bunch of friends. Ages 34+. My clubbing experience in Vegas is limited and was thinking of getting on board one of the Party Bus/VIP tours that I see being offered.. Any recommendations? Is it worth it to see the clubs this way? Is there truly no waiting in lines? Let me know your experiences and suggestions.

    Thanks.

your not getting top tier clubs but for nite its a good quick way to hit a bunch with no headaches.
then i would pick one club to hang the nite at to make a nite of it the next nite

Honestly the club tours are catered to 20 somethings that are on a budget and clueless. I'm 39 and people that are over 30 ish I say go to Foundation Room.

Foundation room. We can check that out. Is there usually a wait to get in or will we need to call the concierge and make a reservation?

Club crawls don't go to hakkasan nor light. At least in a commercial sense of things. I will say that 75% of the feedback that ppl want to go to a club or lounge and club or club and afterhours. The reason why I'm against the club crawls, you have to get back and forth from the clubs to start and end.your night. Then most of them your in the bus to go a casino or 2 down. I have more groups that enjoy starting at voodoo or ghost bar, then going to foundation room. Foundation room is more of the business man club.

Way back in the early 2000s we went on a "Dive Bar Tour" in a party bus. It was a BLAST and you did not risk a DUI summons.

This is how I first hit the Double Down and the old Atomic. We also went to some tiki bar straight out of 1969 and some incredibly skanky hooker bar over by the Hilton. These are places I would never go to.

I haven't seen this offered for many years now.

Faster to walk and hop over from some clubs to club than waiting for transportation to bring you there. LOL.

Have done it twice when our group had more newbies and were looking for a deal. It is worth it if the group is on a budget or wants to see a bunch of clubs that have been around for a while.

You will meet at the initial starting point, go into the club where you met, hour to 1.5 hours later bus to club #2, same amount of time back on the bus to club #3 and sometimes one more for club #4. Whether 3 or 4 whichever it is the last stop is where you will have to cab or walk from back to your hotel room unless your room happens to be where your room is.

Yes there is no waiting in line but that's the only benefit. Yes you see a handful of clubs. No you will not be seeing a Hakkasan or The Light during these tours.

Rough run down on the one we did spring of 2012. We had a group of 6 and paid $50/person. 3 clubs spent we'll say $500/club($90/person) since 3 were single and wanting more bang for their buck and buying drinks for women. So $1500 spent in drinks saw 3 clubs plus $300 to ride the bus is $1800 spent.

Went to Haze the following night, same group of 6, 2 bottle min and ended up spending all in $3100. The 3 single guys (32, 33 and 36 years old) admitted they had a better time, translation place to bring women back to so they can impress, at Haze than the night before.

I'm 44, the oldest in our Vegas group and married. We did Hakkasan this past July and regret not hitting the Light. That's what the next trip is for. Age is only a number.

    Hope this helps.
