Staying at IP this weekend looking for a Irish pub or two hit up thanks
Hennesey's Tavern (downtown)
Nine Fine Irishmen (NYNY)
McMullan's (near the Orleans)
I've heard people say good things about Fado, but I'm not going way out there.
Nine Fine Irishmen is good, but I like Ri Ra a bit better. It's not so big and I prefer cozy, I've bellied up to the bar numerous times. I hear they no longer have Delirium Tremens so that's a bit of a bummer.
Nine fine Irishmen is a good place, good food as well and there was a good Irish band on as well when I was there but that was over 2 years ago so don't know if they are still there.
Never been to Hennesey's Tavern but stopping downtown this time so I will give it a look and try a few in there.
I greatly enjoyed Nine Fine Irishmen. They do not do steaks well, but everything else is very good.
Ri Ra to me is a bit better. The food was excellent across the board. Had the best Irish Coffee EVER there.
Agree with everyone else. We always go to Nine Fine Irishmen, and also found Ri Ra on our last trip and loved it! We'll be stopping at both in October!
+1 on Ri Ra. We were there on St Patrick's Day after the NCAA basketball games. Great atmosphere, good drinks and live band.
Another vote for Ri Ra.
Although, Nine Fine Irishmen is a fun place to have a pint and a few snacks.
It's really hopping when the live band is playing.
