I guess this goes for any CET property: Since you are waived those annoying resort fees, do you have any option for internet?( Other than paying those annoying resort fees!) Should I not even bother to bring my laptop to A/C and then Vegas later in the year?

I believe that you can purchase it ala carte.

Although as I recall, I had internet my last 2 trips to LV and the fee was waived. I am Diamond

When the resort fee is waived, you have to pay for internet. $13.99 for 24 hrs. I'm Diamond and the internet fee was not waived. One day it was only $7.99, I never figured out why.

It's free in the diamond lounges but you probably know that! I've never had it comped and always paid for it in the room or used the lounges.

I got approved a few years back to expense out a Verizon wireless broadband "air stick" or whatever they really call it. Breakpoint is about 2 days of paid internet per month at hotels and airports and such, and it is very convenient and always works.

Many phones/accounts these days can be set up as a hotspot. That is how we do our internet when at CET hotels.

Thanks- I guess I'll just have to use my phone to just check emails and live w/o the 'net while I'm at a CET property.( or use the lounge.) I don't have enough bandwidth- if that's the right word- to set up my phone as a hotspot. I did look into those internet "sticks" a number of times, but they weren't worth it for the little use they'd get. It's interesting that "cheap" hotels all have free wifi, "expensive" ones don't!

They don't want you up in the room surfing the web. They want you down in the casino gambling. There's plenty of free wifi around Planet Hollywood.
