We are going to Harrah's New Orleans in June. We play Video Poker. I am looking for information in the following areas.
    1. What are the play tables on the .25 to $1 Bonus and Double Bonus machines. On the floor and at the bar.
    2. How is the drink service on the floor (I drink red wine) also at the bar when playing.
    3. What is the Diamond lounge like.
Any other information would be appreciated.

1 Pay tables aren't that great, you are going to find the usual CET paytables of 6/5, 7/5, and 8/5 depending on denomination and whether you are playing single line / multi-line VP.

VPFree has the best odds paytables. Last time I was there, some of the progressives raised the payback slightly by 1% or so for the Quarter progressives. YMMV. http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/harrahs-new-orleans

2 Mixed, if your looking for free cocktails, last time I was there I got comp'd at the tables but had to pay for my preferred call drinks as a diamond player. I would check out Tripadvisor forums for latest info, since they were in the process of cutting back last time I visited a year ago.
Diamond lounge was limited to two drinks.per diamond player and guest.

    3) Diamond lounge is nice, its off the high limit slot area, smaller then some I have been in, but the staff are awesome and food is served off a menu. Drinks are strong.

Fulton street adjacent to the casino / hotel is the entertainment area for property with easy access restaurants and you can use your CET comps at Mannings and a few other area restaurants.

Overall its a pretty nice casino, Its much nicer (air quality wise) now that they have gone non smoking. I couldn't stay there in the evening due to the poor ventilation and heavy cigarette smoke.

Last time I was there, Harrahs New Orleans had full pay deuces wild and jacks or better. It's for dollars though.

Full pay deuces (100.76%) is illegal in Louisiana. I think you meant "Not So Ugly Deuces" (99.73%) and unfortunately that has been downgraded to "Airport Deuces" (98.91%). The dollar Jacks have also been downgraded to 9/5 JoB (98.45%).

And as Funk mentioned, it's also all non-smoking now.

One thing about drink service. Most of the HNO slot and VP machines have a system that allows you to order your drink from the machine itself. The order goes to the service bar that the server in your area gets their drinks. It works well and speeds up the delivery time considerably.

drink service as mentioned, slots has the touchscreen order, its usually fast but your going to probally get well and not much of it lol...

bartop vp have your diamond card in and play and you get top shelf and usually generous with it

table games your getting well, but free if your playing, few items they will check your card for

diamond lounge is not the largest but has a nice bar of premium alcohol, depends on the day and time but it can get packed and loud but you can still get in...they have a food menu that changes an item or two out each friday and they will walk around with serving trays with non menu items to have guest try for future menus...diamond gets 4 free drinks and 2 food plates per day, if you want more you can pay cash $8 for each extra, not sure if they set it up to take points...want a great drink and he can make you anything custom just tell him what you like, sit at the bar and see my good friend jimi, jermmie was the other bartender, he was recently released this weekend but they have ebony who has taken his place and jimi is teaching her quite well

june, bring extra clothes if you go outside you will sweat a lot and want to change, lots of heat and humidity in the summer here
