Does anyone have any recent info on table minimums (BJ & Roulette especially) for Hollywood Casino in Charlestown, WV? It's about a 1.5 hour drive for me, considering heading up on a Friday or Saturday evening here in the near future and playing for a couple of hours.

    Hi StingerHook,

I can’t answer your question about table min. specifically simply because I don’t know.
We have been there a coupleof times but we only played the slots. The only thing that I can add to the conversation is that I consider the facility to be “local”, and not geared to a large tourist trade, which sometimes means low or at least reasonable table mins.

The facility is centered on the horse race track. I have left a trip report in “non-Vegas TR”, titled “Charles Town, just horsing around”. In that posting, another member asked about the table mins also, you can read my response.

My trip report may help give you a better picture of what you’ll find there. Hope this helps. jw

We live in Richmond, Virginia and go up to Charles Town several times a year. Last time up was late November on a Friday night. I like to play craps, and they had two tables at $10 minimum. No blackjack tables are under $15 minimums, same with roulette (maybe $10 if you are lucky). 3 card is mostly $15 too.

I do like the casino. It's big, and the dealers are nice. Lately, I have been receiving some offers for free nights, $75 match play and $25 dining credit - the Inn at Charles Town is a very nice hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised. Good luck!
