    anyone hear of this group?

    watched a couple of youtubes...intrigued.

we are driving over to the seattle area to see my daughter, going as far as the couer d'alene casino on thursday night, got tickets for kix brooks.

on into kirkland on friday afternoon, and one of the restaurants daughter is suggesting is walrus and the carpenter in ballard, though we are doing something undivulged in ballard again saturday.

anyway, at the tractor tavern, where i have always wanted to go to a show, is the lone bellow on friday night.

have enjoyed a lot of indie music lately, with daughter also sharing some of the fun. she likes mumford and son, pickwick. i lean more toward reckless kelly and hayes carll, but we have found some we both like, passenger, wild feathers, sturgill simpson.

so, any other indie music fans out there who can tell me about the tractor, or the group there friday night? and yeah, i know greg brown is at the triple door on sunday, but i get to see him in bozeman, yeah, bozeman! in november.

So I just went onto YouTube (yeah the MNF game is bad tonight!) and watched them... they're very talented. Also, looked up the Tractor Tavern and that's exactly the kind of venue I'd enjoy a group like this. I'm more of "blow the roof off the place" kinda concert type guy, but I enjoy the music a group like Lone Bellow puts out over some cocktails with some good company. Sounds like a fun evening....hope you have a great time.

Decent band, great production based on the four songs off of their VEVO channel on youtube. I'll check out the album.

On the folk/country side I prefer things a bit more technical (should be a given since my handle refers to Rush), so have you heard the Turnpike Troubadours? Should be up your alley if you like Reckless Kelly.

Sexy six night stay sounds stupendous.
