Does anyone know of an Indian restaurant directly on the strip, preferably inside one of the strip resorts? I was just running through different cuisines in my head and can't seem to think of an Indian restaurant in ANY hotel/casino.

None come to mind, but MOzen Bistro at the Mandarin Oriental has a number of Indian dishes for lunch and dinner -- and has received goods reviews in the past. I've only eaten there for breakfast, so I can't say how good the Indian food is.

There's Tamba across from CityCenter in that hawaiian marketplace area. I used to know the owner of it. It's a fairly small place and has pretty good food and vibe and its the only indian place on the strip.

India Masala is in the Riviera's food court. It's been there for 4 years and has excellent reviews on Yelp for its food but the ambiance is still a food court. Last year the owners opened a full service restaurant with the same name on E. Flamingo, not very far from the Strip.

Always had good food at Tamba whenever I've eaten there and it's very good value for money too.

That's funny and not completely surprising. The way I knew the owner was around 5-6 years ago I met a guy at the Bellagio at the tables and we gambled together all night, then we were hungry but only Cafe Bellagio was open and he asked if I wanted Indian food and so we walked over to Tamba really late after it was closed and he just started banging on the doors and some dude came out who looked like he was sleeping/living there. Probably a little illegal apt or something on top of it or in the back which isn't uncommon. He wasn't the owner but maybe the chef or manager or something, this guy knew him and he let us in and put together a great meal. Around halfway through the owner came by and sat with us. These guys were good friends.

I had gone back a couple times during normal hours after that and always liked the vibe and the food. Nothing superb but definitely good for a lone indian restaurant on the strip. Not sure I care about the health code violations, a little E. Coli does the body good. :) Just kidding...
