    ad for Volvo's dynamic steering control, they have another one using a mouse running in a wheel attached to a truck's steering wheel

    appears to be a pretty cool feature in the realm of heavy duty trucking

    It is much harder to drive a semi truck in reverse than forwards so it makes the benefits more obvious. Think of reversing a trailer with your car and multiply it by 100 times.

    I LOVE that commercial... I'm told there's no "trickery", it's pretty much straight-up, except there is some kind of harness in case he fell... understandable.

    Okay, yes, that does make sense. In my youth, I worked on a loading/receiving dock and marveled at how those guys could back up those giant rigs. Thanks.:wave:

    You're welcome, but it's second hand knowledge. My mate drives a semi truck and saw it and explained it to me. My knowledge of trucking isn't that great lol.
