What's the IP pool like in May? Decent amount of sun? Will construction have an impact?

It gets a very decent amount of Sun. I was there playing craps this past weekend but not staying there and half of the gaming floor was boarded up and under construction. I really dont know why there would be construction near or at the pool. Hopefully someone has stayed here recently to truely answer that part of your question.

The breakfast buffet is not bad for the price.
I remember it being $11.99 last fall, and usually have a 2-4-1 coupon in the hand outs at check-in.
They have made to order omelets, and according to my wife THE best bacon strips. Also have dinner fare all the time to, if your mornings aren't for breakfast foods.
Lunch and dinner prices are high for the quality.

Yeah, generally, you just can't go wrong with a breakfast buffet. For me, they all do the job.

Mirage's breakfast buffet is quite nice though, but pricey ($17?)
