    My Trip Report

So the fiance and I were going to head from our windy Canadian city to Kalispell, Montana on Wednesday for a nice mountain getaway and some Christmas shopping for a couple nights. That was derailed when I looked at the forecast and saw that the routes we were supposed to take, mainly the Marias Pass in Glacier National Park was due to get a foot and a half of snow on the day we were supposed to go. I looked at the forecast for Great Falls, MT and they only are supposed to get 2 inches. Hmmmm....Wonder how much a flight to Vegas is...$550 for both of us...What's this you say comped room at Caesars Palace? DONE and booked. A quit little 2 nighter to Vegas with the fiance. I was not overly happy to learn that as of November 10th resort fees will charged on all rooms unless diamond or 7 star even on comps. Whatever $50 is better than paying, but still annoying. I should have wifi so should have many updates live via tapatalk. Oh....What's this I have Cosmo comped too, perhaps that's the way to go!

Thank God for bad weather! :evillaugh And if you play a lot at the CET bartops, I would try to bitch at them to at least get those resort fees comped off the backend. And 8/5 JoB w/Double STP at the Caesars sportbook!

lol......Hubby and I always go to Vegas during NFR but he can't get away from work. I've had 5 trips this year and got my ass kicked on the last two in July and Oct so took it as a sign not to go. Planned a quick Windsor Casino trip in December with a friend; read Flusher's report and the next thing I know I'm double booked at Tropicana and Cosmo and flights are booked for a quick Dec10-13 trip (cancelled the local trip until January). I understand your disease!! Have fun!

Gonna stick with caesars Dave as I anticipate there will be lots of play at the new sports book bar. Linq looks like it's got some cool bars too. Gaggles was sending me pics of new places when he went last month.

Well shit since booking the snow forecast for GTF has from 2 inches of snow via flurries to 7 inches of snow! Fack I hope it doesn't delay my flight.

Apparently they have a new sports bar that looks awesome. Don't know if you saw it last time you were there but that nice bar by the high limit room now has VP as well. Top shelf drinks, snacks and quarter VP.

glad your trip report will get me thru the last week before my upcoming trip, don't think we will do a report though as its only a quick 2-nighter and I don't anticipate many wild antics ;)

I was there last Monday and it looked very nice. All seats were taken and it appeared to be very busy. Definitely will visit again on a future trip.

Well first win of the trip is before it has even started! Just text my host and got the resort fees covered as well. Always nice when they take care of the little guy!

All checked in for the flight! Went with electronic boarding passes vs printing them, but yet again I have a bitch with Allegiant Air even though it will never effect me. They are now charging $5 a person if you go to the counter and get them to print your boarding pass!!! I mean I know they are a no frills airline but this ridiculous. It's bad enough they charge $36 per person for just a carry on. Oh well cheap direct flights to vegas is why just grin a bare it. I'm sure you'll hear me bitching again when they're delayed as usual tomorrow lol

Well the ritual has begun! Packing with The Hangover III although the future wife made stop at the wine store. I hate wine but the stops have become much more enjoyable not that they have a growler bar. Basically you fill a giant giant beer bottle with one of their 20 beverage on draught. I picked a sommersby cider which I'm currently enjoying over ice. Let's see how a pic uploads...
