Looking for good Barbq or a place that makes most of their food homemade.

VPFree has most updates on vp. Not much other than 9/6 JoB at Sam's Town. Down stairs bar and uprights on second floor.

Most casinos have double deck BJ with 3:2 payouts, DAS. RSA at the $10 level. Horseshoe and Harrahs is $15 for double deck.

Good steak house at Horseshoe and Gold Strike.

    Good luck----

The gambling in Tunica is all pretty similar. I like Goldstrike best. They also have a new buffet which is not half bad. But if you're in Memphis, I guess barbecue is the way to go

I love Barbq but I will try the Buffet at the gold strike. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just a 20min. ride away from Graceland and Germantown is nice to see to... but as a German... I've to say so! ;)

I'm originally from Memphis. If you want BBQ, check out Interstate BBQ (the uncle of the Neelys from Food Network...but you should go during the day), the BBQ Shop on Madison, the Germantown Commissary or Central BBQ. Gus' Fried Chicken is also very good.

I've never thought any of the buffets in Tunica are that good. Surprisingly, when it first opened, Paula Deen's buffet at Harrah's was pretty good when it first opened. It went downhill fast and now doesn't exist due to her PR problems.

    Any questions, just ask!

Find Beale St and get drunk!!

When I was in the Navy, I was stationed in Millington for about 6 months and we used to frequent a club called St Mongos Planet, a week before I left it was declared "Off-Limits" and military personnel were no longer allowed to go in there. They served anyone alcohol, and I mean anyone- even local 16 year olds. There was a parking garage across the street, and people would hook up and go in there and explore the birds and the bees in their cars. Quite a place.

That Americana Buffet was very good. Best in Tunica and I got them at half off with some scratch offs that the bartender gave me. That bar at the Gold Strike was good for a Royal and then some.

I love that Ultimate Poker at the bar. That's about the only Video Poker that I played and I played a lot.
