If you had two free nights at any MGM resort which would you pick and why?

Lets assume that you are gold status with Mlife, and you have two free nights at any MGM resort regardless of date. Which resort would you stay at and why? The wife are trying to plan our anniversary trip and wondering which resort is best. We are leaning towards Aria, but was hoping for insight from those that have stayed at the properties.

Since I've always wanted to stay there...my choice would be the Bellagio.... especially if I could get one of the rooms overlooking the fountains. This property appears to be a classic LV experience and we like a quieter casino...

If you have never been to or stayed at Bellagio I would stay there... Bellagio has everything from great food, you can walk to anywhere from there, beautiful grounds, nice rooms, good pool and a lot of gaming. Otherwise no question I would stay at Aria. All the same reasons, all gaming staff are great and its newer. Sky suites of course.

I have never stayed at Aria or Bellagio. We were leaning towards Aria as it is a bit newer and thought it would be a bit hipper.

I am all about location. I know they are not MGM properties but I could not stay in places too far from the middle of the strip. Even the new SLS, Wynn, Encore, Mirage for me if pushing it. I feel way out in left field at these properties.

for me I would stay in either MGM or Bellagio, leaning toward MGM but I'd be lying if I told you I wouldn't mind a few nights at Aria.

I would pick Bellagio because that's the only Mlife hotel I haven't stayed in (besides Excalibur and that's never going to happen). I hated Aria when we stayed there for part of our May trip. Bellagio is a beautiful property, with great location, great food choices, and have access to a lot of things (through the tram) at Aria and Monte Carlo without ever having to go out to the actual Strip. Plus, it is the best Mlife property.

My 2nd choice would actually be MGM because you great food choices there too. It also gives you quick access to the monorail if you want to quickly get to things on that side of the Strip.

Well, Bellagio is my favorite, but I'm not looking for hip. I love the rooms, love the vibe in the casino - classy, quiet. I love the food options there. Love the location. If you are looking for hip and a younger crowd, then maybe the Aria would the better choice for you.

Bellagio for me with Mirage as a close second.

Aria is a very nice place but it's not my idea of Vegas. I like my Vegas with a bit of spectacle and at least slight campy. I like classy too but not the modern steel and glass version of class. I think Steve Wynn had it pretty much nailed on every project he's done.

Don't you think MGM is too far from the middle of the strip?

Wife and I really enjoyed Aria on our own dime. We are thinking about Bellagio, on our own dime since we are lowwwwww rollers, just because of the feedback from friends who have stayed there recently.

Personally I would go Bellagio because we have not stayed here if given your scenario.

Another vote for Bellagio over Aria...and I've stayed at both....the Bellagio location cannot be beat!

Hate to be redundant but Bellagio would be my choice. Have stayed there 4 times and to me it represents all the great things about Vegas

I'll be the outlier. :) I'm not a fan of Bellagio. I think that the property is beautiful and the restaurants are yummy, but the rooms? Not that special for the price.

Mirage is my favorite to play/stay/eat.

I would pick Bellagio if you have never stayed there before, although I have migrated my stays mostly to Aria now. A nice stay at Bellagio without leaving the property for a few days is just a quintessential LV experience which should be experienced...

I agree with this. I love Aria, and don't like staying at Bellagio these days (the base rooms are nicer at Aria, and the Bellagio casino tends to be a bit of a shitshow), but it still has something special which Aria just doesn't quite have. Also, I don't think I'd really call Aria more "hip"; I'd probably say it's more "modern", but it just doesn't have much to attract a younger crowd like Cosmopolitan does. Even Bellagio has Hyde and The Bank, which aren't top tier clubs but still draw a younger crowd than any venue at Aria (especially with the closing of Haze on the horizon).

Would have to pick Aria. Bellagio is overrated in my book and so crowded. I like the look and feel of Aria and the amenities they offer.

Vdara, because small, non smoking and under 300ft walk to Bellagio, Cosmo and Aria....great rooms and staff
but a great break from a hotel with a casino and loud people when you're done for the day

    Agree with this 100%.
I stay at Aria now but Bellagio is something everyone should experience once.
