Looks like my Vegas days are coming to an end...for a long while.

If it was your last Vegas trip what would you do?

    1) You still have the same amount of money - so you can't so things your budget wouldn't allow for.

    2) You still have to live/love life after so you don't want to do something you'll regret.

I'd still do exactly what I always do. We treat each trip as if it's our last because you never know. My husband and I are moving constantly, taking in as much as we can. There's downtime to sit, grab a drink and people watch but on our last three trips, we've never made it to the pool because to me, that's a waste of time.

We've agreed that this will be our last trip to LV for awhile and focus next on Europe and Asia.

I very well might be in that situation after this upcoming Apr. trip (from both health and money issues).

So what I've done is set up one of my longest Vegas trips ever....10 days. Breaking it up with a couple of nights at my old high school buddy's house for 2 nights (he's lived in Vegas 15 years) and going up to Zion one day. They're taking me to Hugo's Cellar one night, and I'm springing for Bob Taylor's Ranch house the second night. Have never done Zion, Hugo's or Taylor's so looking forward to all 3.

Then I'm joining my long time Vegas buddy who's flying in from Columbus and we're spending 5 nights at Harrahs. We'll have a car for the 5 days so plan on getting out and about as much as possible.

Now I just saw where the damned Culinary pickets are going up the 12th and our reservations for Hugo's are the 18th, so I don't know if that'll be a no-go or not.

Figure if it's going to be my last trip, I might as well go out with a bang.

Do something thats on your Vegas bucket list. HL slot pull, large amount Straight up (or Black/red) on a number in Roulette, HL Blackjack hand, stay in a nice suite.

Something that you will regret NOT doing if you never make it back.

Depends on what I hadn't done before. If I was a slots player to this point, I would play tables. If I have never been downtown, I would go there.

Personally, I'd probably stay some place I never have before on both ends of the spectrum. Maybe a couple nights at Golden Gate and a couple at Wynn or Venetian since I usually stay at Golden Nugget, Mirage, and Bellagio.

Other than that, I'd stay up late and waste not a second of every day.

I believe I have had my last Las Vegas trip. The last thing I did was take down a 4 - way winner (splits and doubledowns) at Golden Gate for $200. good way to end it, going out a winner.:wave::beer:

    OK, now seriously...

We have this terrible thought too. Hate to think Vegas trips would come to an end. Vegas is getting too expensive for us.

BUT, somehow, every 3 years, we find a way to "Pull Off", one more.

Vegas, here we come (again.. we hope..)

indeed...it is getting to a point where it is getting too expensive for the way I have grown used to enjoying it. i may be a low roller but i do spend quite a bit of time there...and it adds up. i wonder what i will do in future.

I agree with all that have been stated... Come up with some sort of bucket list of things that are important to you and focus on those things. Maybe take pictures that you can look at in the future to help you remember the memories.

Me and the wife had a artist on Fremont draw us last time and now hangs in my office and provides motivation to get thru this tax season.

The problem is that I LOVE the pool at the Flamingo - and now with the LINQ...great location!!

Suggest a great room with a sweet part pool?

Tell me about the Flamingo Go Mini Suite Does it come in a 2 Queen?

We have a Go room booked, for the difference that the Mini Suite coast we could also get a nice rom at the Mirage (resort Queen high floor) and pay for entry in the Flamingo pool. Thoughts?

    Throwing in the towel Breeze?

Honestly, for me... I'd finally spring the $200 for a VIP dance at Spearmint Rhino. I like to have a bunch of drinks and a couple $20 dances but not take it all to seriously but for a last trip, what the hell.

If I can't have an unlimited budget (you took all the fun out of it with that guideline!) I'll do the same things I always do...as I always have a good time. See lots of shows (as many as I can fit in), enjoy my slots and the pool, plus walking on the strip and people watching. The one thing I haven't done but would try is ride an open vehicle of some sort up and down the strip at night to fully absorb all the lights and energy.
