    Thanks for the replies. I am more partial to the Masquerade tower. Just love being up real high. So I may "ask" for a renovated room in that tower.

    We were at the Rio for lunch today. There are hundreds of old tube TVs stacked on the ground floor of the parking garage in a fenced off area. So, it would appear that things are getting updated.

    I'm amazed Vegas hotel still has tubes anywhere.

    LCDs take up less space, are lighter, and use less energy. Those are all hotel benefits. Damn the better pic.

    The best bet nowadays is to go with LED LCD TVs. The LED premium cost has gone by the wayside (the premium was bull anyway).
