Business is good and I have been swamped these past few months so messing around on the internets and the facebooks has had to move to the backburner. That being said, I'd like to get back on here and open myself up for any questions you all have. Subjects I would like to keep to:

    -Table and Slot Gaming
    -Comps
    -Events and Promotions
    -Rewards Questions (not complaints)
    -Property Stuff
-Existential Discussions on Entropy and the Arrow of Time
-How to Dissect an Earthworm without making a mess
-Any advice on how to keep those darned pine needles out of my pool

For those that know me personally, I'm known as someone that will always give honest answers and keep things as real as possible. All I ask is that we keep any complaints on other threads, no one likes a whiner :) I have zero to the gazillionth degree of control over benefits and rewards so any issues with those, hit up the total rewards site "contact us" page. I assure you every message sent through that portal is looked at by a real live person. No joke on that, I get forwarded stuff all the time.

I also ask that you do not use anything I say on this thread to try and get things, i.e. "Hunter said this" or "Hunter said that". Every now and then I might say something that isn't accurate, and I will usually correct myself. Just because I type something doesn't make it legally binding and must be honored. I actually took a little break from answering questions because of this very issue.

I'll also try to keep you all informed on any important news or upcoming events.

Looking forward to hearing from you and reconnecting with you all!

    Thanks!

    Hunter

I know it is a ways off, but would you know when CET releases their spring offers around? Thanks

Thanks for joining us and offering to answer questions Hunter.

Are you a host at a particular CET property, or do you cover them all?

Unfortunately I have no Total Rewards offers as they reset in January. I've not stayed at any of your properties, but I enjoyed playing at the TAG bar in the LINQ last year.

Any comments looking in the crystal ball about the parking situation?

If it ever comes to paid parking just press the intercom button at the boomgate and say you get free parking because Hunter said so

    Welcome back Hunter.
In the past, my offers included some free play and a small resort credit.
I booked my next trip for Sept. back in early March with a calendar rate, hoping to add an offer if it came available.
There are no offers at all in Sept. for me. I believe my play has been consistent over 2 trips/year for 5-6 years.
Is it true that, there will be no offers if I have an active reservation?
In the future, would I be better holding off until the offers are posted? I kinda hate to do that, because I like everything planned out well in advance.

Hey Hunter ,Just a comp question, Are comps strictly on play or if spending money on other items at the resort influence comps? ex staying at CET Resort, and using their restaurants and entertainment etc.as primary choices to spend our money. Wife and are at Paris in a few weeks and wonder if charging everything we can to the room will help. BTW welcome back

I am curious about Reward Credits and their worth when reducing one's hotel bill. A dollar is equal to how many reward credits- or is this a number that can be played with by one's host? I'd like to get an idea as to how much my RCs are worth before I see the host.

Hunter welcome back. I promise to finally stop by to visit you in Jan on my trip.

It is a shame that people did that to you regarding the....buuuttt hunter said craps. No need for that from this forum and shame on people who did. Having you here is valuable and informative and I'd have to see that go away.

Now I will veer off topic a little but, but we have discussed you connections to Chicago in the past....how pumped are you for Giardinos coming to the strip?

As for the pine needles? Cut the trees down. ;)

Every 100 RC is $1. So if you have 10342, you could take $103.42 off your bill with your RC. And you can use them right down to the cent when using them for hotel rooms or food.

Reminds me of a funny story. I went to Vegas as part of a bachelor party a year and a half ago. We had two rooms comped through Hunter and he gave us a great rate for our the other two guys who didn't gamble much but were more so just there to enjoy our company. One of those two guys ended up gambling quite a bit, while the other turned out to be the cheapest guy I'd ever met. We were at the Linq during construction, and one night was so bad they actually gave the two comped rooms a food credit and the third room, they took the most expensive night off (original price was $250 and no resort credit, so I believe now their room was down to $130ish TOTAL split between the two of them.)

Anyways, on the day of checkout, the guy who gambled a lot had probably $50/$60 in RC to put towards the room, so he went up to the desk first. Then, the cheap guy went up and asked how much money in RC credits he had. They told him something like 80 cents. He got mad and replied "Can you call someone? I was sure I had at least a dollar, maybe $1.50". Our jaws dropped. What an idiot. Best part: they called the TR desk and said "sorry sir, you actually only have 47 cents."

I haven't seen that guy since. (we are also pretty sure he stole our tip money from a buffet at PH. We all tipped $10 (so it was like $60 total) but he didn't put any money down and stayed at the table when we walked away. He said we tipped too much. So he either didn't leave a tip of of his, or even worse, took some of our money for himself. Brutal)

Hi Hunter, can you explain why when my wife and I play (slots) side by side same bet end up with different offers ? Meaning she will receive multiple offers where I will receive only minimal offers, is it based on the fact that the Casino operator bases offers on household addresses knowing that if they offer her a good offer there is no need to offer the benefit to. I can understand if my play is lower than her's but we play side by side same bet level same gambling sessions. Thanks for hosting these discussions

I would recommend playing on one card only if you usually travel together.

I am averaging 800-1000 TCs a night this year, but my gambling sucked in years prior (barely hitting 100 TCs per night). Could that be why my offers are not really there? I literally don't get any food credit, or free play from CET. To be fair, the rooms are heavily discounted or Comped on weekdays. On my latest stay at Harrahs AC I earned $43 dollars in free play despite having earned well over 3000 TCs during that stay on gambling alone.

    The guy sounds incredibly cheap.

But 10 bucks each is a helluva tip for a buffet. (And no, that does mean he should take it or even not tip himself).

Hi Hunter, I'm booked in October for the Feast of the Gods dinner at Caesars. Can you tell me a bit about what the meal entails, and the evening in general? Aside from mentioning the dinner and drawing, the offer email didn't have a ton of info. Thanks...

It was all either comp'd or on 2 for 1s. And at the time I was only platinum (diamond now) and they still gave us premium seating and were bringing things like crab legs to our table. Service was some of the best I've had at a buffet. And I usually tip well. Find it hard to not justify it when I think about all the money I throw away in slots and tables
